    Dave Regenfuss (Monday, 19 February 2024 11:23)

    Hi Remy -

My name's Dave. I live in Racine, Wisconsin, USA. I am a member of CCSI, but I don't remember what my # is. I don't have a website - it's something I may try to do when I retire sometime in the next 10 years. I stumbled upon your website while researching my mystery caps yesterday. I went through your "Wanted Caps" list and I believe I have around 19 of the ones you are looking for. I do have some questions for you. What's your criteria for condition? I take anything I can identify just to have it, then look for the upgrade. So how do you feel about bends, scratches, used vs. unused, etc.? Do you have any interest in older cork-lined caps? The Labatt IPA is a corky - are you looking for more? Incidentally, that's 1 I have available, but in marginal condition. I also have just 1 Michelob EZ Twist left but it's been flattened. I'll give it to you if you want and you can look for an upgrade as you go. It's probably from the late '70's - early '80's, and probably found in the street. Do you collect soda caps? I notice you seem to be heavy on the beer caps. I clicked on your USA caps in your collection. How many USA caps do you have? Were all of them pictured? I might be able to HUGELY swell your collection of USA caps depending on your interest. I should probably tell you I've been collecting since 1976, when I was 16. I'll be 58 later this year. One reason I don't have a website is that my collection, by my count, has over 35,000 different caps in it. And my traders would be ridiculous to photograph - literally cases full of thousands of caps. In fact, there are some I'd be happy to GIVE to you once I know what you're interested in. Of course, I have some I'd rather get a cap or cash for, but I am ridiculously easy to work with compared to others I've dealt with over the years. I'm mostly interested in USA & Canada caps, but I will take anything I don't have from any country whether used, unused, cork-lined, plastic-lined, soda, beer, water, etc. Like you, I don't do wine or champagne or ceramic caps. I'm not sure how much room I have left here, but these are some from your want list that I may have. Sometimes its hard to match up colors and letter fonts with images on a computer screen. I'd be happy to ship them to you and let you decide what you want in your collection - and no need to return ones that don't match exactly. Just turn around and trade them elsewhere. These are all in used condition: Anchor Steam, Budweiser Budvar, Cerveceria Cuauhtemoc, the Russia OAO cap with the ship, Efes w/4 medallions, Beck's Oktoberfest, Michelob Amber Bock, Michelob Light Beer red flag, Upper Canada Light Lager, Molson Stock Ale, black, yellow, & white Oktoberfest w/mustache, Mikes Hard Iced Tea & Hard Crisp Apple, Labatt's Blue Imported, Lake Placid 1980, Squaw Valley 1960, and NHL shield. And the previously mentioned squished Michelob and ok Labatt IPA.

That's all for now. Once I hear from you we'll go from there. If you are ever going to be my part of the USA, give me a heads up. I'd be happy to show you the collection and the trade stock. I DID look at your trade stock and there are caps I don't have. One thing I definitely require with the foreign caps is "the English version" of what they are and where they are from. Tired of mystery caps.

    Regards,

    Dave

Have checked your website traders from time to time and you are now showing 8 that I would very much be interested in trading for. I am in the US and have about 2300 different traders on my website. Please send me an e-mail at: <[email protected]> and lets do a trade. Again, I have spotted at least 8 of your traders that I am interested in but the main two are from your Traders 5: Pirate Face (bottom row) and Traders 4: Seagram. I hope to hear from you. Thanks. Good Day Remy
My wife Cheryl and I have been collecting since 2013 and did our first swop in Oct 2013.
She is registered in the club as #2053.
We have taken a six month break from swaping and now I am keen to start again while Cheryl has decided to hop out at the moment.
We have 4918 caps from 132 countries.
To date we have done 71 swaps.
If you would like to swap African caps or any other country, I will photograph swap trays and we can take it from there.
I have seen your swaps and would be interested in trading.
Please note that we only trade via registered post.
Look forward to receiving a favourable reply.

    Hi there,

I found a link to your site on Dave Gregory's site and wanted to reach out to pass along a link to mine (www.thecapproject.com). I'm not a traditional collector but I have been collecting caps for the last 18 months for a specific project. I'm a relatively easy trade partner because I am happy to stay away from any caps that you consider rare or of higher value...as long as I don't have it, it's valuable to me! Please check out my trader page. I think I have a few in my inventory that are currently on your most wanted page. I can be reached at [email protected] if you have any interest. Thanks!

I'm a former collector who ran out of room to display them, I can't quit drinking beer, though, so they do pile up. I have a standing offer on a couple of sites to
send, FREE, a small group to beginning collectors. I can't believe how hard that is. If 28 used beer caps, all different, would be of any use to you, just let me know. I even pay for shipping anywhere in the world. I'd appreciate it if you'd
pass the word to newcomers. "Big dogs" don't need (or want) such help.

    Hi !
I am interested in trade with you.
    I´m from Europe, Czech Republic.
I will update my homepage for you in next few days.
Last update I made some months ago.
I have cca 1800 crown caps.
I can offer you mainly caps from Czech Republic of course.
But I have many others from europe of course.
I think that we can trade cca 50 caps.
PS: I started to collect in the streets, bud now I buy it in auktion in Czech Rep. and sometime I make trades with Spain, Poland, Belarus. In future I want to go buy and shop at e-bay, but I´m a rookie with pay-pal service.
